Although I am not a member of the John Edwards fan club, I do think it is time to move on. But there is more to come from the feds for sure.

The ex-mistress of former Democratic Sen. John Edwards appeared Thursday at a courthouse in Raleigh, N.C., where a federal grand jury is meeting, a sign that investigators may be deepening their probe of Mr. Edwards's campaign finances.
Rielle Hunter is the second former Edwards aide to have been publicly identified appearing at the courthouse this summer.
Ms. Hunter, who produced videos for the former North Carolina senator's campaign, was paid $114,000 in 2006 by his political action committee.
She also received money from Dallas lawyer Fred Baron, a top Edwards fund-raiser and political ally, to relocate to the West Coast last year.
Mr. Edwards has denied paternity of Ms. Hunter's daughter, Francis Quinn, who was born in February 2008.
Andrew Young, a former aide to Mr. Edwards, claimed in December 2007 to be the child's father but hasn't commented on the matter since.

I developed a great admiration for Elizabeth Edwards and her approach to this traumatic experience in her life. I strongly suspect that despite the recent trials and tribulations, there must be a strong foundation based on something which may not be easily defined, which keeps them together. Let's hope that the family unit is not further damaged by whatever is disclosed during these hearings.
