The Court of Appeals, Part VI. -- A new piece of information about Mead to try to fit into the puzzle.

Today in the Savannah Morning News Walter C. Jones of Morris News Service has a good summary of this race. The is the second story by Mr. Jones on this race.

I learned something from this article, and pass it on word for word:

". . . Mead has been endorsed by Georgia Equality, a gay-rights group.

"Mead said he doesn't know why Georgia Equality endorsed him because he never told them or anyone his stand on social issues. He and Bernes refused to answer the Christian Coalition survey saying they didn't want to prejudge an issue. Besides, they say, they will be bound to follow the rulings of the supreme courts of Georgia and the United States rather than setting sweeping precedents."
