Something fishy is going on immediately south of Georgia's border, and it has nothing to do with water and mussels . . .

InsiderAdvantage Georgia has a story from Florida Insider reporting that yesterday, one day before the Texas and Ohio primaries, Florida Republican Gov. Charlie Crist proposed holding another Democratic presidential primary as a way to steer around the controversy about the state’s January 29 primary not having counted in seating delegates to the Democrats’ presidential nominating convention this summer. Gov. Crist said this time both Hillary and Obama should be allowed to openly campaign there.

The article also reports that DNC Chairman Howard Dean has signaled a willingness to consider the idea, and that this is a key break from his past intransigence. It notes that it looks like Dean is looking for an out on his previous refusal to compromise on seating Florida delegates.

The headline of this story is "We Smell A Possible Arrangement Here," and the arrangement the story surmises is conniving by Gov. Crist and McCain.

I have not seen this story anywhere else yet, but if Hillary survives today, this story is going to get legs, dern it.
