Cathy Cox picks up a senatorial endorsement.
According to Insider Advantage, State Sen. Curt Thompson, D-Norcross, has endorsed Secretary of State Cathy Cox for governor.
Thompson’s district is centered in Gwinnett County. All Democratic House members from Gwinnett have previously endorsed Cox’s campaign.

The rumor is that Georgia's WIN List (aspiring EMILY's list) told Thompson they'd run a female candidate against him in the primary if he didn't endorse Cox, and he caved. Weak.
Anonymity is inconsistent with accountability. And anyone who anonymously spreads ugly rumors, ESPECIALLY about Georgia’s Win List is a yellow coward. GA WIN List is a great organization and worthy of every Democrats praise.
Two things:
Taylor was at a friend's funeral yesterday, so people attacking him on that front need to shut the fuck up. I'm sorry that his friend dying was inconvenient for the war vigil schedule.
#2: Curt Thompson is the one spreading the Win List rumor. He's probably making it up. So direct your ire at him.
Again, more rumors without provenance. Unless you officially speak for either Mark Taylor or Curt Thompson, take your troll droppings elsewhere. People like you give Democrats a bad name.
Agreed, Mel. Funeral or not, Taylor certainly was not bereived enough to miss the campaign stop the same night in Toccoa. The same event that he mentioned that "we had a prayer vigil," etc. That's weak.
Now picking up rumors that Taylor will definitely be getting out of Gov's race and focusing on a reelect. Any truth to it?
More like someone was probably going to out Curt Thompson if he didn't endorse Cathy!
