Leaping lizards!! Spammer sentenced to nine years in prison. Too much? Heck no.

According to the AP article, authorities believe the defendant Jaynes was responsible for spewing out 10 million e-mails a day, making him one of the top 10 spammers in the world at the time of his arrest. Jen will tell you that one of the purposes of punishment is deterrence.

This sentence should get every spammer's attention.
