Are the Philistines showing slippage & engaging in infighting as the end of the legislative session approaches?

The Philistines might be showing some signs of slippage as the current legislative session approaches its end.

Plus I understand that some rather heavy duty infighting is going on between the House and Senate leadership, more specifically, between the Czar, House Speaker Glenn Richardson, and Senate President Pro Tempore Eric Johnson.

With tempers said to be flaring, is the Head Hawk going to have to come in and referee? Or does he in reality even have any control in this situation? At least he has the real and recently demonstrated threat of neutering anyone not towing the line.

Maybe the state GOP needs to keep such internal bickering more -- well, in keeping with its new identity -- secret.

Just as surely as I like to think of my party as the Party of the People, the Party of Hope and Dreams, after this legislative session the GOP is going to be known as the Party of Secrecy. What a moniker!

You would have thought that the GOP would have thought it had its hands full defending its well deserved reputation for giving big business the kind of blank checks and tax breaks the tycoons never envisioned; dabbling and messing in private bedrooms and personal relationships; limiting abortions; complicating and prolonging painful divorce proceedings; easing the child-support burden on absentee fathers; and messing with the unfettered right and franchise to vote.

But even with all of the foregoing, the GOP seems determined to make secrecy jump out as as the thing that comes to mind the quickest from this session -- with such secrecy running the gamut from givers to government.
