Gov. Perdue, possibly in reaction to earlier blog posts, shows real signs of leadership. "It's all about the 'L' word, leadership," the Governor said.

Undeterred by expected criticism and second-guessing from the press and even members of his own Party, this week Governor Perdue won accolades from both friend and foe when he announced perhaps his most significant gubertorial act to date.

Governor Sonny Perdue proclaimed October 24-29, 2004, as National Pharmacy Week in Georgia. "I urge all citizens of Georgia to join me in acknowledging the valuable services of pharmacists," said Governor Perdue.
