Part I: Zell, if we can't all be handsome, can some of us be big? Part II: Remain in rural Georgia?

The 9-1-04 PI discusses the state Democratic Party running the ListenToThisVoice.com this week:

Democrats are walking a fine line here. . . . Miller still has a strong following among many Democrats, especially those who remain* in rural Georgia. Certain gubernatorial hopefuls, who might or might not occupy the lieutenant governor's office today, could solicit Zell's help in 2006.

We asked Kahn if Miller was still welcome in the Georgia Democratic party.

"We're a big tent, and we would hope he'll realize the error of his ways and comes back," the chairman said.

Is that a yes? we pressed.

"We would very much welcome the man who delivered the keynote address in 1992," Kahn said.

* Did we mean to say "remain" in rural Georgia, or "live" in rural Georgia?

If "remain in rural Georgia" is correct," yes, there are one or two of the Party faithful remaining in rural Georgia. And yes, the politicians who forget this do so at their peril.
