Christie Sets Himself Up for Run in 2016 - New Jersey Governor, Who Hasn't Signaled His Presidential Plans, Criticizes Obama Over Health Law on Election Day
From The Wall Street Journal:
Mr. Christie, 51 years old, ran as a bipartisan figure who worked across the aisle to curb the power of public-sector unions and fight for federal aid for victims of last year's superstorm Sandy.
According to exit polls, Mr. Christie won 61% of men and 55% of women, while taking more than two-thirds of white voters. He made progress with Hispanics, winning 48% compared with 32% in 2009, and with blacks, winning 20% compared with 9%.
Mr. Christie won despite Republican's disfavor in New Jersey. The exit poll found 62% of voters had a favorable opinion of Mr. Christie, though 58% of those surveyed had an unfavorable view of the GOP.
