Today Jim Wooten writes in the AJC that Obama is trying to make Georgia seem in play.
Mr. Wooten in his column is very clear in conveying his opinion that Georgia is not in play. What is not clear is what Mr. Wooten means by the following two statements:
If Obama wins Georgia, he'll occupy the White House.
He won't, despite the surge in registration and the enthusiasm he engenders among Democrats.
If he's just saying Obama won't win Georgia, he is probably right, although this is within the realm of possibility.
If though, he is saying Obama will not occupy the White House, he needs to -- as I tell some of my friends down here in South Georgia -- get used to the idea.
